Hajiji Noor addresses KDM's decision regarding GRS coalition

Sabah Chief Minister Hajiji Noor has addressed the decision by the Parti Kesejahteraan Demokratik Masyarakat (KDM) to move outside the Gabungan Rakyat Sabah (GRS) coalition. Hajiji clarified that because KDM is not a member of the GRS coalition, its decision to withdraw support does not constitute a withdrawal of support from the coalition itself.

He emphasized that the stability of the state government depends on the support of representatives within the Sabah State Legislative Assembly. He noted that the KDM representative for the Paginatan constituency has already expressed support for the state government.

Hajiji stated that the current state administration, which includes GRS, Pakatan Harapan (PH), and Barisan Nasional (BN), will continue its cooperation to ensure smooth governance. Additionally, he noted that GRS is preparing for upcoming general elections by strengthening party machinery at all levels.
