Hajj pilgrims finish stoning of the devil and Tawaf rituals in Mecca

During the Eid days of the Hajj, pilgrims gathered at the Jamaraat Bridge in Mina and threw seven stones at each of the three "devil" pillars, completing the symbolic stoning ritual. After the stone‑throwing, they proceeded to the Grand Mosque in Mecca, performed the Tawaf (circumambulation of the Kaaba) and Sa’y, and thereby fulfilled the third pillar of Hajj, earning the honorific title of Haji.

The pilgrimage saw intense traffic around Mecca, with the Ministry of Hajj arranging special transport services for the marathon of rites. Police checkpoints slowed vehicle movement, and many pilgrims walked within the city. The rituals, described as a blend of devotion, reflection and communal celebration, marked the culmination of the annual pilgrimage season.
