Hakan Ürün prioritizes production protection in EBSO chairmanship bid

Hakan Ürün, a candidate for the chairmanship of the Aegean Chamber of Industry (EBSO), has stated that his primary objective is to protect existing industrial production. He emphasized that while increasing production capacity is a long-term goal, ensuring the continuity and survival of current businesses amidst economic difficulties must come first.

Ürün highlighted his extensive experience within the industrial sector and his long-standing tenure as a council member and project developer at EBSO. He described his candidacy not as a pursuit of position, but as a responsibility to work alongside members to solve industry challenges through collective intelligence.

He also noted the importance of the communication network established with the 52 professional groups within EBSO, which allows for direct feedback to guide management decisions. Additionally, he referenced EBSO’s international recognition, noting it was selected as the ‘Best Chamber’ by the Confederation of Asia-Pacific Chambers of Commerce and Industry (CACCI), being the first chamber from Turkey to receive such an award.
