Hakkâri invests 128 million TL in new vehicles and heavy machinery

Hakkâri has received a significant investment of approximately 128.4 million TL for new vehicles and heavy machinery to bolster local public services. The investment was distributed between the Hakkâri Municipality and the Hakkâri Special Provincial Administration.

The Hakkâri Municipality received four vehicles and machines, including an excavator, a vacuum truck, and loaders, at a cost of roughly 28.8 million TL. The Hakkâri Special Provincial Administration acquired 16 units, including trucks, an asphalt finisher, a road roller, and a 32-meter fire truck, totaling approximately 99.6 million TL.

During the delivery ceremony on the Hakkâri-Çukurca highway, Governor İbrahim Taşyapan emphasized that the new equipment will be used for road construction, paving, infrastructure, transportation, and firefighting. He noted the challenges of providing services in the region's difficult geography and stressed that while the machinery provides essential capabilities, the human element remains the most critical factor in delivering efficient public services.
