Hakodate City offers free sports facility access for Sports Day

To commemorate Sports Day on October 12, 2026, several sports facilities in Hakodate will be open to the public free of charge.

Facilities available for individual use upon arrival include the Hakodate Salmon Marunama Arena (including the training room), the Sanwa Bosai Aqua Wing Pool, the Chiyodai Park Kyudo-jo, and the Hakodate Dock Sports Garden (track and field stadium after 14:00).

Certain facilities, such as the Nezakiko Park archery range and various baseball and tennis courts, require advance reservations through specific application periods and methods.
