Hakuhodo DY ONE expands TV ad reach and launches AMAP partnership

Hakuhodo DY ONE is expanding its marketing capabilities through two major strategic developments. First, the company has expanded its programmatic television advertising solution, ‘WISE Ads for TV’, by adding Yomiuri TV and Chukyo TV to its distribution network. This expansion increases the reachable population to approximately 70 million people, covering the critical Kansai and Chukyo economic regions in addition to the Kanto area.

Second, Hakuhodo DY ONE has launched a marketing support service in partnership with the Chinese navigation app AMAP (owned by Alibaba Group). The service aims to capture the growing segment of individual Chinese tourists visiting Japan by helping Japanese companies and local governments register point-of-interest information and distribute digital coupons on the platform. The service has already been piloted by ASICS RUNWALK Ginza to track user intent through route searches and page views, aiming to drive physical store visits through location-based data.
