Halina Pawlowská shares unusual hotel experience in Italy

Czech writer Halina Pawlowská shared a humorous yet startling experience from her recent vacation in Bolzano, Italy. She described encountering an exceptionally high hotel bed that made getting in and out feel like a mountaineering feat.

Pawlowská noted that while the bed was modern and comfortable, its height was so extreme that she felt she had to jump onto it. She jokingly compared the danger to the historical death of Hans Christian Andersen, who passed away after a fall from a bed in 1875. Despite this unusual obstacle, she expressed high praise for the local Italian cuisine, drinks, and landmarks.
