Halis Kahriman: Business leader and political figure

Halis Kahriman is a Turkish businessman and political figure, currently serving as the Chairman of the Board for Mert Holding. Born in 1976 in Ağrı, Kahriman moved to Istanbul in 1990 and spent several years working in the construction sector in France between 1992 and 1996.

His commercial career began in the bakery industry with the establishment of Altın Ekmek Fabrikaları. In 2009, he expanded his business interests into construction and real estate, eventually forming Mert Holding, which now operates across the food, petroleum, energy, and tourism sectors.

In addition to his business activities, Kahriman is active in local politics and social responsibility. He has held roles within the AK Party and the DEVA Party, including serving as the Esenyurt District Chairman for DEVA. He also serves as the president of the Bizim Beylikdüzü Foundation.
