Halle Berry faces custody battle and abuse allegations

Actress Halle Berry is currently involved in a legal dispute with her former husband, Olivier Martinez, regarding the custody of their 13-year-old son, Maceo. Martinez has sought sole legal custody and filed a restraining order against Berry, alleging she physically assaulted and choked their son during a conflict at her Los Angeles home on September 26.

Berry has denied these allegations, describing them as “unfounded and intentionally misleading.” Reports indicate that Berry’s son may testify regarding the alleged physical abuse.

An acquaintance of the actress has characterized Berry as having significant mood regulation issues, claiming she can shift from being pleasant to experiencing intense rage within seconds. This follows a separate historical account of a confrontation between Berry and director Bryan Singer on the set of an X-Men sequel, where Berry reportedly stood up to his aggressive behavior.
