Halle protesters demand ban on AfD party

In Halle, Saxony-Anhalt, approximately 300 people participated in a demonstration calling for an immediate ban on the Alternative for Germany (AfD) party. Organized by the initiative ‘AfD-Verbot jetzt’, the protesters expressed concerns that the party’s presence in the region poses an existential threat to the democratic order.

This event occurred in contrast to the ‘Long Night of Democracy’ celebrations held in other German states like Bavaria, Baden-Württemberg, and Lower Saxony.
