Hallenstadion restroom controversy follows Robbie Williams concert

Following a Robbie Williams concert at the Hallenstadion in Zurich on Wednesday night, a controversy erupted regarding the management of restroom facilities. Due to long queues at the women's toilets, staff temporarily designated a men's restroom for female use to alleviate congestion.

Male attendees reported feeling discriminated against after being blocked from using the facility. One visitor claimed a security staff member told him the restroom was reserved for women and responded rudely when asked where men should go, allegedly stating that the matter was “scheissegal” (irrelevant/the hell with it) to her.

The Hallenstadion has acknowledged the incident, stating that while one restroom remained accessible to men, the situation will be investigated internally. The venue noted that its sanitary facilities meet standard requirements.
