Halliburton signs energy development agreements in Venezuela
Halliburton has signed memorandums of understanding with Brazilian energy company Eneva and Venezuelan firm Wesca to support oil and gas development projects in Venezuela.
Under the agreement with Eneva, the companies will collaborate to identify and prospect business development opportunities within Venezuelan territory. This partnership builds upon an existing commercial relationship between Halliburton and Eneva in Brazil.
Simultaneously, the agreement with Wesca focuses on providing technical support for reservoir evaluation and development planning. The collaboration involves using digital technologies and subsurface interpretation to assist in decision-making regarding asset development. Halliburton noted that it has maintained an operational presence in Venezuela for nearly nine decades.
