Hallmark Channel announces 34 Christmas movies for 2026 season

Hallmark Channel has announced its 17th annual ‘Countdown to Christmas’ event for 2026, featuring a lineup of 34 original holiday movies. The programming will run for 10 weeks, with new premieres scheduled every Friday, Saturday, and Sunday from October 16 through late December.

The expanded lineup includes 10 more original films than the previous year and features notable brand collaborations. For the first time, the network is partnering with Walt Disney World Resort for ‘Holiday Ever After: A Disney World Wish Come True’. Additionally, Hallmark continues its partnership with the NFL through ‘Holiday Touchdown: A Bears Love Story’, which features cameos from Chicago Bears players and staff.

The season kicks off on October 16 with ‘Tis the Season for Setups’. Other scheduled highlights include the third season of ‘Mistletoe Murders’, premiering on November 5. Movies will air at 8 p.m. ET and will be available for streaming the following day on Hallmark+.
