Halloween celebrations feature themed displays in Adelaide and Daniel Island
Various communities are preparing for Halloween with elaborate residential displays and organized tours. In Adelaide, residents can find diverse decorations ranging from an 18-foot spider web in Aberfoyle Park to a Stranger Things walkthrough in Maslin Beach. Specific locations include a moving Grim Reaper in Hectorville and themed inflatables in Craigmore. Local resources such as interactive maps and community social media pages help residents identify houses that welcome trick-or-treaters.
On Daniel Island, the Austen and Ash DI Spooky Tour has expanded to include more than 50 decorated homes. Organized by Scott Engler, the tour features an interactive website with Halloween trivia and a scavenger hunt. The event highlights neighborhood creativity, with participants using orange pumpkins on a digital map to indicate homes that are already decorated.
