Halloween celebrations planned in Vern-sur-Seiche and Parc de l’Auxois

Various Halloween festivities are being organized in France. In Vern-sur-Seiche, the Parc du Clos d’Orrière will host an event on October 31 from 5:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. The program includes storytelling by the association La Filois, a performance by the Kadoudal bagad, and fire shows by the Safire company. The event is free and open to all, designed to include residents of the neighboring nursing home.

At Parc de l’Auxois in Arnay-sous-Vitteaux, the 2026 Halloween theme will focus on ‘cursed animals.’ The park has prepared new decorations, including a large wolf head, bears, and spiders. A special animal cemetery has been created to honor extinct species and deceased animals from the park, using concrete plaques and wooden crosses to combine the holiday theme with environmental awareness. The park is also utilizing over two tons of pumpkins for decorations and animal enrichment workshops.
