Halloween community events and trails announced for Fairhaven and Strabane

Various community Halloween celebrations are scheduled for the upcoming season. In Fairhaven, the 21st annual Halloween Trail features several decorated locations, including displays on Oliver Street, 6 William Street, and 127 Laurel Street. Residents are encouraged to visit these private yards to view spooky decorations and lighting, though visitors are asked to remain respectful of private property.

In the Strabane district, the Halloween Hay Trail returns for 2026, running from October 16 to October 31. The trail features nine unique displays created by local schools, businesses, and community groups. The route spans Bready, Strabane, Victoria Bridge, Castlederg, and Newtownstewart, with stops including the Sollus Centre, North West Regional College, and various community associations and young farmers' groups.
