Halloween entertainment expands with new board games and video game adaptations
As Halloween approaches, various entertainment options are emerging in the gaming sector, ranging from tabletop experiences to digital horror.
Blackrock Games has introduced a selection of five board games designed for different audiences, including families and groups of friends. The collection includes titles such as ‘Fiesta de los Muertos’, ‘Hantise’, ‘Viva Catrina’, ‘Soupçons’, and ‘Le Château de P’tit Bouh’, offering themes of mystery, cooperation, and bluffing with play sessions lasting between 15 and 30 minutes.
In the video game industry, IllFonic is developing ‘Halloween: The Game’, an asymmetrical multiplayer survival title based on John Carpenter’s 1978 film. Set in Haddonfield, the game features Michael Myers as the antagonist in a format similar to ‘Dead by Daylight’, where one player acts as the killer while others attempt to survive.
