Halloween events announced for Bogotá and Mexico City

Various Halloween-themed events have been announced for 2026 in Latin America. In Bogotá, the Salitre Mágico amusement park will host its 11th Festival of Terror from October 2 to November 1, 2026. The festival will feature new scare zones, a new horror house titled ‘Blood Horror’ inspired by cinema, and a new host character named Lenny. New ticketing options include a ‘Two Night Terror Passport’ and a ‘Platinum Passport’ which offers a guided RIP Tour of themed houses and the Drakko roller coaster.

In Mexico City, the annual Zombie Walk is scheduled to return, featuring a parade through the Historic Center. The 2026 edition will include activities such as monster battles, makeup stations, and zombie weddings. Participants are encouraged to dress as various creatures, including vampires, werewolves, and classic horror film characters like Ghostface and Pennywise.
