Various Halloween celebrations are planned for October 31, 2026, in the Western Cape region.

In Cape Town, fable cape town will host a Day of the Dead party starting at 18:00. The event features a themed menu, a DJ, and a fire dancer. Guests are encouraged to wear elaborate costumes, with a prize for the best-dressed attendee.

Near Stellenbosch, the 14th annual Dirtopia Halloween Forest Night Trail Run will take place at the Muratie Wine Estate. Presented by Sportsmans Warehouse, the event offers 5km and 10km routes through forest trails. Participants are encouraged to wear costumes, and prizes will be awarded for individual and couple outfits. Headlamps are compulsory for those navigating the trails after dark.
