Halloween festivities planned for Minneapolis and Iowa communities

Communities in Minneapolis and various towns across Iowa are preparing for Halloween festivities. In Minneapolis, families can participate in organized events such as the Not-So-Scary Trick-or-Treat at Midtown Global Market from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m., and the MNPOC Pride and Rainbow Roots Trunk-or-Treat at the Sabathani Community Center from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m.

In central Iowa, trick-or-treating and Beggars’ Night schedules vary by municipality. While most communities, including Des Moines, Ankeny, and Urbandale, have scheduled activities for October 31, some towns like Ames, Gilbert, and Marshalltown have scheduled their events for October 30 or earlier.
