Halloween horror experiences launched in Santiago and Spain

Various entertainment venues in Santiago and Spain are launching immersive horror-themed experiences to celebrate Halloween.

In Santiago, the restaurant Cinema has invested approximately US$1.3 million to create a themed dining experience. The venue uses animatronics, special effects, and live actors to recreate settings from iconic horror films such as ‘The Exorcist’, ‘The Shining’, ‘Annabelle’, and ‘The Nun’. The celebrations include musical performances and costume contests.

In Spain, Cinesa is hosting the ‘Cinesa Room – Horror Edition’, featuring a 17-hour horror movie marathon. Starting October 31, the event will screen titles including ‘It’, ‘The Conjuring’, ‘Malasaña 32’, and ‘Malignant’. While the Barcelona event focuses on continuous screenings, similar marathons will take place in Madrid, Valencia, Zaragoza, and Mallorca. The initiative is part of a broader effort by Odeon Cinemas Group to attract younger generations back to movie theaters through innovative experiences.
