Halloween seasonal toys and activities for children
As the Halloween season approaches, various products and activities are emerging for children. Playmobil has released Monster High themed sets, such as the Bloodgood’s Office set, which features characters from the popular series. These toys are designed to encourage imaginative play and fine motor skills through spooky-themed accessories.
In terms of child development, experts note that some children are drawn to scary Halloween imagery because they can differentiate between pretend and reality. Elyse Handel of The Children’s Museum of Indianapolis suggests that children who recognize characters as fictional may find them silly or funny, using these themes to explore emotions and overcome fears.
The Children’s Museum Guild is also hosting its 62nd Annual Haunted House, titled Fright Academy, from October 9 to 31. The attraction features themed areas like a library and cafeteria where prospective students can experience a monster-themed environment.
