Halloween: The Game brings Michael Myers to asymmetric horror

IllFonic and Gun Interactive have released Halloween: The Game, an asymmetric multiplayer horror title based on John Carpenter’s 1978 film. The game allows players to take on the role of the iconic killer Michael Myers or attempt to survive as victims in a sandbox environment set in Haddonfield.

The experience features a story mode designed as a tutorial, divided into chapters that guide players through the mechanics of stealth, killing, and hiding by recreating key moments from the original movie.

The game is noted for its atmospheric recreation of the film's setting, utilizing the original soundtrack to enhance the sense of immersion.
