Halloween-themed running events scheduled for late October

Various Halloween-themed running and walking events are scheduled for late October across Oregon and parts of the United States.

In Oregon, the race calendar includes several themed events such as the Ashland Monster Dash Run for Education, the Frightfully Fun Run in Salem, and the Great Pumpkin Run in Portland. Endurance events like the USARA Adventure Race National Championship in Bend and the Suttle Lake Trailfest are also featured.

In another region, Beacon of the Valley is hosting a Halloween 5K Run and 1-Mile Walk at the Hubbard School Complex. This event includes a costume contest and offers a $750 donation to a local school in Mahoning, Trumbull, or Mercer County for the 5K winner. Proceeds from the event support Beacon of the Valley, a nonprofit dedicated to assisting children aged 12 and under.
