Poland celebrates Halloween with diverse local events
Halloween celebrations across Poland featured a wide range of community, cultural, and themed activities. In Jelenia Góra, the City Hall hosted a children's event featuring chemical experiments and a visit from Mayor Jerzy Łuźniak. In Łódź, a large Halloween parade took place on Piotrkowska Street, featuring costumed participants and a grand finale at Manufaktura.
Other regional activities included a themed Minecraft gaming event at the Hajno de Culture House, a Halloween-themed night swim in Kleczew, and a drive-in cinema experience in Lubin. In Gdańsk, the local transit authority continued a decade-long tradition by decorating a tram with horror-inspired decor.
The holiday also sparked various discussions and lifestyle trends. While some residents in Kutno expressed mixed feelings about the tradition, others embraced it through themed decorations and trick-or-treating. Additionally, culinary trends emerged with social media-inspired recipes and home-made snack ideas, while dental professionals issued reminders regarding sugar consumption and costume safety.
