Separately, reports from gaming insider Rebs Gaming indicate that Project Ekur, the planned Halo multiplayer title, has been permanently cancelled. Sources say development resources were redirected to the Campaign Evolved launch, scheduled for July 28, and Halo Studios has not commented on the cancellation. The news reflects broader industry shifts, including Microsoft’s studio closures and Sony’s move away from disc releases.
