Halo: Campaign Evolved PC specs and board game announced for 2026 launch
Microsoft and Halo Studios have detailed the PC system requirements for Halo: Campaign Evolved, the Unreal Engine 5 remake of the 2001 classic. The game launches on July 28, 2026 for PC, Xbox Series X|S and PlayStation 5, with Premium Edition buyers receiving five‑day early access on July 23. Minimum specifications for 1080p @ 60 fps call for Windows 10/11 22H2, an AMD Ryzen 5 3600 or Intel i7‑10700K, 16 GB RAM, an NVIDIA RTX 2060 Super/AMD RX 6600/Intel Arc A580 GPU (8 GB VRAM) and a 100 GB SSD. Medium, high and ultra tiers increase CPU (up to Ryzen 9 7900X or i9‑13900K), GPU (up to RTX 4080), RAM (up to 32 GB) and VRAM accordingly for 1440p, 4K and ultra‑high settings. The PC version will support unlocked framerate, Nvidia Reflex, and up‑scaling technologies such as DLSS, FSR, XeSS and TSR.
In parallel, Mantic Games announced Halo: Campaign Evolved: The Board Game, slated for release in the fourth quarter of 2026. The cooperative game for one or two players aged 13+ will recreate the iconic Halo campaign in tabletop form, extending the franchise’s relaunch strategy beyond video games.
