Halo: Campaign Evolved receives performance update and new armor

Halo Studios has released a significant update for Halo: Campaign Evolved, including patch version 17.661.002. The update focuses on improving performance for players on PC and PlayStation 5, while also allowing users to disable certain visual effects.

As part of this release, players can obtain the new Recompilation Armor for Master Chief. This electric blue, holographic cosmetic skin is available for free via a redemption code on the Halo Waypoint website.

In the community space, a new fan-made mod titled ‘Faster Flood’ has been released on Nexusmods. The mod increases the difficulty of the Legendary mode by randomizing the movement speed of Flood combat forms, making some enemies move up to twice as fast as the base game speed.
