Halo: Campaign Evolved receives Unreal Engine 5 remake

Halo: Campaign Evolved has received a complete remake developed by Halo Studios, rebuilt using Unreal Engine 5. Released on July 28, 2026, the title is available on Xbox Series X|S, PC, and PlayStation 5.

The remake aims to modernize and enrich the original 2001 campaign while preserving its core identity. It includes the original ten missions but features improved level design, modernized cinematics, and clearer navigation. The title follows the story of Master Chief John-117 and Cortana as they encounter the artificial ring structure known as Halo.
