Halo: Campaign Evolved remake praised, Halo 2 sequel uncertain

Co‑creator Marcus Lehto defended the Halo: Campaign Evolved remake, acknowledging minor flaws but saying they are “secondary to the fun”. He highlighted improvements in lighting, animation, cinematics and movement, while noting some “cringe” moments and overly aggressive in‑game hints.

A separate report from content creator Rebs Gaming warned that the planned Halo 2 remake is in doubt. Halo Studios reportedly diverted all resources to Campaign Evolved, causing delays, possible staff cuts and the cancellation of the Project Ekur multiplayer mode, casting uncertainty on future Halo remakes.
