Halo: Campaign Evolved Remake Set for July 28 Release
Microsoft unveiled a new trailer for Halo: Campaign Evolved during the Xbox Games Showcase 2026, noting that the footage was recorded on a PlayStation 5 Pro. The remake of the original 2001 Halo shooter runs on Unreal Engine 5 and adds rebuilt levels, extra missions, new weapons, vehicles, four‑player co‑op, cross‑play and shared progression across platforms.
The game will launch on 28 July 2026 for PC, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S, with a premium pre‑order granting access five days early. PC hardware requirements range from a minimum of an Intel i7‑10700K and RTX 2060 Super to an ultra tier needing an Intel i9‑13900K and RTX 4080. Halo: Campaign Evolved will also be available on Xbox Game Pass from day one.
