Halo: Campaign Evolved launches on Xbox Game Pass July 28, 2026
Microsoft announced the second wave of Xbox Game Pass additions for the latter half of July and early August 2026. The headline release is Halo: Campaign Evolved, a full remake of the original Halo: Combat Evolved built on Unreal Engine 5. The game will be available day‑one on Game Pass Ultimate and PC Game Pass across cloud, Xbox Series X|S, consoles, handhelds and PC on 28 July.
Other titles joining the service in this wave are Shift at Midnight (22 July), Hell is Us (23 July), Mistfall Hunter (30 July), Corsair Cove (31 July), Heretic + Hexen (4 August) and Beast of Reincarnation – an action‑RPG from Game Freak – also on 4 August. Eight games will leave the catalog on 31 July, including Back to the Dawn, Celeste, Crusader Kings III, Mount & Blade II: Bannerlord, My Friendly Neighborhood, Rain World, Sniper Elite Resistance and Whiskerwood.
