Halo Efoils launches YouTube series 'Behind the Quiver' showcasing new hydrofoil board
Kelowna‑based Halo Efoils has released a documentary‑style YouTube series called "Behind the Quiver" that follows the design and testing of its new hydrofoil board, the Halo Channel Trench. The board is built to support a wide range of riding styles—including foil assist, wake foiling, wing foiling and surf foiling—and incorporates marine LED lighting to improve rider visibility and safety. Founder and CEO Carey Missler said the series highlights how Canadian innovation from the Okanagan can combine with the surf heritage of California. Episode 1 was filmed in British Columbia and Southern California and features a partnership with Grant Hasselback and 270 Board Co. in Morro Bay, California, blending high‑performance foil design with Halo’s lighting technology. The series documents the engineering process, cross‑border collaboration and on‑water testing, and is available on YouTube and the Halo Efoils website.
