Halo relocates headquarters to Ipswich to build tech hub

Software company Halo is relocating its headquarters to the Willis Building in Ipswich, a move intended to transform the area into a technology incubator and retain local talent. The Willis Building, a Grade I listed office space designed by Lord Norman Foster, was originally built for the insurance company Willis, now known as WTW.

Founder Paul Hamilton stated that the relocation reaffirms the company’s commitment to the region. Halo aims to create 5,000 jobs over the next decade and intends to have 1,000 graduates working in Ipswich by the end of 2030. The company, valued at approximately £1 billion, develops IT service management and workflow automation platforms used by major organizations such as Microsoft and Red Bull.
