Haßloch to host tango event for Kultursommer Rheinland-Pfalz 2026

As part of the Kultursommer Rheinland-Pfalz 2026, a special tango event titled ‘Die berauschten Zwanziger: Tango, Rausch & Realität’ will take place on October 10, 2026, in Haßloch. The event, held at the historic Saal Löwer, aims to contrast the ‘intoxication’ of the Roaring Twenties with the reality of migration that shaped tango.

A new composition by bandoneonist and composer Norbert Kotzan, themed ‘Migration 1926 – 2026’, will premiere during the evening. The program includes a Milonga featuring live music by Cuarteto Bien Porteno. The venue, Saal Löwer, is a protected architectural monument designed in an early Art Deco style.
