Halsey recovers from facial infection ahead of Rock in Rio performance

American singer Halsey has revealed she is recovering from a severe facial infection just days before her scheduled performance at the Rock in Rio festival in Brazil. The artist shared on social media that she required medical attention and intensive medication to treat the condition.

Halsey clarified that the issue is more serious than a common cold, noting that she has a history of recurring sinusitis and previously suffered from osteomyelitis, a serious bone infection. She expressed relief that her condition is improving, stating, “I am getting better – and I don't want them to pull out all my teeth and eyeballs anymore.”

Despite the health scare, the singer intends to proceed with her appearance at the festival's Palco Mundo this weekend.
