Haluk Bilginer and Ali Atay Begin Filming 'Güneye Giderken

Veteran Turkish actors Haluk Bilginer and Ali Atay have reunited for the new comedy‑thriller film Güneye Giderken. Production, overseen by Taff Pictures, started on the company’s traditional Thursday‑launch day, with the first set photos quickly drawing attention on social media.

Ali Atay serves as both director and one of the leads, co‑writing the screenplay with Cihan Talay and Beste Bilir. The story follows the character Turgay (Bilginer) on a last‑minute journey that spirals into a chaotic adventure with taxi driver Kadir. The ensemble cast also includes Hande Yılmaz, Mehmet Özgür and Cihan Talay. The film will be released on Prime Video, where it has already generated strong interest among Turkish cinema fans.
