Haluk Levent loan dispute in Ahbap Derneği probe

Engin Güner, father of lawyer Ece Güner, issued a written statement asserting that the money transferred from his daughter to singer Haluk Levent after the 2023 Kahramanmaraş earthquakes was a personal loan, not a donation to the Ahbap Derneği charity. He emphasized that bank records label the transactions as “loan” and “loan repayment,” and that the bulk of the amount was repaid roughly a year later.

Güner also stressed that Ece Güner never made any donation appeal on behalf of Ahbap Derneği and that the charity has no connection to the loan. He claimed his daughter suffered financial loss, referenced MASAK (Financial Crimes Investigation Board) reports confirming the loan nature, and expressed confidence in the judicial process as the investigation continues.
