Halve Maan Outdoor Pool in Diest Attracts Over 36,000 Visitors in July

The open‑air swimming pool at the Provinciedomein Halve Maan in Diest recorded more than 36,000 visitors during July, an increase of 6,000 over the previous record month of June. Deputy Ann Schevenels highlighted the site’s popularity with families, youth groups and tourists, and noted that extra lifeguards are deployed on peak days to maintain safety.

The province of Flemish Brabant continues to promote combined tickets that pair swimming with mini‑golf or boat trips, a format that has proved especially popular with school groups and youth organisations. Organisers expect similarly high attendance in August as the summer holiday season continues.
