Hamanoyu ryokan offers seasonal kaiseki in Nagano

Hamanoyu, a Japanese-style inn located in the Kamisuwa Onsen area of Nagano Prefecture, offers seasonal kaiseki cuisine featuring ingredients from the Shinshu region and across Japan. The ryokan, situated by the shores of Lake Suwa, provides monthly changing menus.

The August menu includes items such as summer vegetable simmered dishes, shark fin soup, sashimi, buckwheat noodle sushi, eggplant miso gratin, and Shinshu premium beef teppanyaki. Guests can also order specialty dishes like horse sashimi and sweetfish tempura. The establishment also offers an original ginjo sake named ‘Ukishiro’ to complement its meals.
