Hamas denies Israeli claims of militant activity at Kamal Adwan Hospital

Hamas has rejected allegations made by the Israeli military regarding the use of Kamal Adwan Hospital in northern Gaza for militant activities. The Israeli military claimed that militants exited the facility and that one individual, identified as Mohammed Tamous, planted explosive devices before being killed.

Hamas described these claims as baseless and characterized them as attempts to justify targeting vital healthcare facilities. Medical sources on the ground reported that a civil defense worker was killed during an Israeli airstrike while attempting to rescue injured individuals near the hospital.

Hamas has called on the United Nations and international organizations to dispatch investigative committees to verify the status of hospitals and ensure they are not being used for military purposes, warning that such allegations pose a direct threat to remaining medical infrastructure in the region.
