Hambar platform prepares agricultural adoption model in Romania

The Romanian platform Hambar is developing a new commercial service that allows consumers to support local small-scale farmers through an adoption model. Under this system, customers can pay in advance to support the production of specific assets, such as a sheep, a fruit tree, or a beehive.

In exchange for the advance payment, participants will receive periodic installments of products, including cheese, fruit, jams, and honey, over a set period. One of the platform's founders, Alin Șerban, indicated that testing for the first sheep adoption program is tentatively scheduled for November 2026, with potential program expansion planned for 2027.
