Hamburg advances apprentice housing project at Friedrich-Ebert-Damm

In Hamburg, progress is being made on a long-delayed project to create housing for apprentices at Friedrich-Ebert-Damm. The Senate has announced that the plot has been handed over to the successful bidder for further planning.

The project, which aims to address the shortage of affordable housing and secure skilled labor, originally planned for 68 residential spaces. Authorities are currently evaluating whether this number can be increased. The project developer intends to submit a building application within the next three months, with construction estimated to take approximately ten months once a permit is granted.

Despite this movement, several details remain unconfirmed, including the final number of apartments and the exact dates for the start and completion of construction.
