Hamburg faces heavy thunderstorms and intense rainfall
The German Weather Service (DWD) has issued warnings for heavy thunderstorms and intense rainfall in Hamburg and northern Germany. On Monday, the region faces potential heavy rain of up to 15 liters per square meter within a single hour, accompanied by gusty winds reaching speeds of up to 85 kilometers per hour.
Weather patterns indicate a transition toward autumnal conditions. Following the stormy period, temperatures are expected to stabilize, with highs around 19 to 21 degrees Celsius. While the weather may clear slightly by Tuesday and Wednesday, intermittent showers remain possible as the seasonal change progresses.
