Hamburg shooting St. Pauli Lagerstraße homicide investigation shooting fatalities

Two men were killed and a third person was seriously injured following multiple gunshots at a commercial premises in the St. Pauli district of Hamburg. The incident occurred on Lagerstraße near the Sternschanze S-Bahn station on a Tuesday evening.

Law enforcement discovered the victims on a factory site that houses the meat manufacturer DELTA Fleisch Hamburg and the Universum Boxing gym. One victim, a 47-year-old man, died at the scene, while a second man was found dead inside a building. A 48-year-old man sustained serious injuries but was able to reach a hospital independently before police arrived.

A large-scale manhunt was launched involving more than two dozen patrol cars, drones, and assistance from the Federal Police. Investigators from the homicide commission and the public prosecutor's office have taken over the case. Preliminary findings suggest a prior relationship existed between the victims and the perpetrator.
