Hamburg to host Bloody X-Mas Market charity event

The Bloody X-Mas Market, organized by Wacken Open Air, will take place on November 20 and 21, 2026, at the University Medical Center Hamburg-Eppendorf (UKE). The event combines a large-scale blood donation drive with a Christmas market atmosphere, featuring live music, culinary offerings, and a tombola.

Confirmed musical acts include Heavysaurus and Subway To Sally, with more performers to be announced. The metal band Heaven Shall Burn is serving as the official patron of the initiative through their ‘Pay With Your Blood’ campaign.

Proceeds from the event will benefit the Childhood-Haus Hamburg, a competence center at the UKE that provides medical and psychological support for children and adolescents who have experienced violence or neglect. The event aims to address declining blood donation rates in Germany, where thousands of units are required daily.
