Eintracht Frankfurt advances to DFB-Pokal round of 16 FAST-MOVING

Eintracht Frankfurt secured a place in the DFB-Pokal round of 16 with a 3-1 victory over Hamburger SV at the Volksparkstadion. Despite a scoreless first half where Hamburg created several opportunities, Frankfurt took control in the second period.

Captain Robin Koch opened the scoring in the 56th minute, followed by a goal from Jonathan Burkardt in the 71st minute. Substitute Younes Ebnoutalib extended the lead to 3-0 in the 75th minute, before Terem Moffi scored a late consolation goal for Hamburg in the 79th minute.

Hamburger SV faced significant challenges due to a depleted squad, missing six regular starters including captain Nicolai Remberg and Fabio Vieira. The loss marks an exit from the cup for Hamburg, while Frankfurt moves forward to the next stage, scheduled for early December.
