Hamburger SV regains key players ahead of Paderborn match

Hamburger SV enters their upcoming match against SC Paderborn following a streak of three consecutive victories, a feat the club has not achieved in the Bundesliga for 16 years.

Coach Merlin Polzin confirmed that several key players are returning to the squad, including Albert Sambi Lokonga, Patson Daka, and veteran Bakery Jatta. While there are no short-term absences, the coaching staff is managing the workload for defenders Nicolás Capaldo and Jordan Torunarigha to avoid unnecessary risk.

Following the long-term injury to captain Nicolai Remberg, Polzin has been experimenting with a midfield trio consisting of Martin Adeline, Bilal Nadir, and Miro Muheim. This formation was a decisive factor in their recent 1-0 victory against Stuttgart and remains a tactical option for the Paderborn fixture.
