Hamidiye Kaynak Suları increases packaged water prices in Istanbul

Hamidiye Kaynak Suları A.Ş., a subsidiary of the Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality, has implemented a price increase for its packaged water products effective September. The company cited rising production and distribution costs as the primary reasons for the adjustment.

Under the new tariff, the price of a 19-liter returnable damacana water has increased by 13.33%, rising from 150 TL to 170 TL. For customers exchanging different brand containers, the price for 19-liter water has risen from 170 TL to 190 TL, an increase of 11.76%. Additionally, non-returnable 19-liter water has increased by 8.33%, moving from 240 TL to 260 TL.

Glass damacana water prices have also been updated, rising from 180 TL to 200 TL, an 11.11% increase. Smaller pet bottle multipacks saw a more modest increase of 1.85%, with the price for various 4-pack, 12-pack, and 24-pack configurations rising from 216 TL to 220 TL. This marks the second price adjustment for the company this year, following a previous increase in January.
