Hamilton updates Interstellar-inspired Khaki Field Murph watch
Hamilton has announced an update to its Khaki Field Murph, a watch model originally designed as a prop for Christopher Nolan’s 2014 film ‘Interstellar’. The new version features a 38mm stainless steel case, making it more compact than the original 42mm model.
The standout feature of this update is a deep blue, granular dial inspired by stardust and the journey of an interstellar comet. The color transitions from an intense blue in the center to nearly black at the edges. The watch retains its vintage aesthetic with beige Arabic numerals and characteristic Cathedral hands.
Technically, the timepiece is powered by the automatic Calibre H-10 movement, offering an 80-hour power reserve and a Nivachron anti-magnetic hairspring. It is water-resistant up to 100 meters and includes a sapphire crystal case back. Pricing is expected to be around 995 euros for the leather strap version and 1,075 euros for the metal bracelet version.
